Dragons’ Path Clear: If They Qualify, They Face Tough Group Opponents

The draw for the World Cup groups for next summer’s tournament in the United States, Canada and Mexico was held in Washington today, and the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team also found out their potential rivals for the big tournament. If they qualify for the World Cup through the play-offs, the Dragons will play in Group B with Canada, Switzerland and Qatar.

Although the Dragons have not yet qualified for the World Cup, Sergej Barbarez’s team has found out their potential rivals for that big tournament if they qualify through the play-offs that we will play at the beginning of next year.

The winner of that play-off in today’s draw was placed in the fourth pot, and by the will of the draw it was determined that it would be in Group B.

This group also includes: Canada, Switzerland and Qatar

The Dragons had a chance to secure direct qualification through the group, but unfortunately in the decisive match in Vienna we failed to defeat Austria in a direct clash for first place, which ended with a score of 1:1.

As a reminder, Bosnia and Herzegovina will play the match against Wales in Cardiff on March 26 at 8:45 PM, and in case of victory, we would play the final match on March 31 at home against the winner of the Italy – Northern Ireland duel.
