ACF Fiorentina have confirmed the arrival of Edin Džeko to their ranks.
The Bosnian striker, born on 17 March 1986 in Sarajevo, has signed a one-year contract with the club, which runs until 30 June 2026. The contract provides for an automatic extension until 30 June 2027 if certain conditions are met.
Džeko played for Turkish side Fenerbahçe last season, playing 53 games, scoring 21 goals and providing eight assists.
During his illustrious career, he also played for Wolfsburg, Manchester City, Roma and Inter, among others, and has so far scored a total of 369 goals and recorded 153 assists.
His trophy cabinet includes the Bundesliga title, two Premier League titles, the FA Cup, the League Cup, the Community Shield, two Coppa Italia and two Italian Super Cups.
Dzeko, who is now 39 years old, is the record holder for the number of appearances and goals for the national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina, for which he played 141 games, scoring 68 goals and registering 29 assists.
