EUFOR successfully conducted a medical Evacuation from Bihac to Sarajevo

After receiving a request from the “Operations and Communication Center for BiH’ EUFOR successfully conducted a medical evacuation (MEDEVAC) rescuing a seriously ill man who needed an urgent transfer by helicopter from Bihać to Sarajevo.

A EUFOR Agusta Bell 212 was used to conduct the operation. The success of the MEDEVAC was a result of good cooperation between the Operations and Communication Center for BiH, EUFOR, the hospital in Bihać and the hospital in Sarajevo.
