An earthquake with a magnitude of 3.1 on the Richter scale was registered this morning near the town of Čarađe, in the municipality of Nikšić, the Institute for Hydrometeorology and Seismology announced.
The earthquake was registered at 9:17 a.m. with the epicenter four kilometers northwest of Čarađe.
The strength of the earthquake in the hypocenter was 3.1 on the Richter scale, which corresponds to an epicentral intensity of six degrees on the Mercalli scale.
The epicenter of the earthquake was located at a depth of 16 kilometers.
The earthquake was also felt in Herzegovina.
