Eight people infected with West Nile virus have been registered on the territory of Serbia, the Institute for Public Health of Serbia “Dr. Milan Jovanović Batut” announced.
Three infected people were registered in the South Banat district, two in the Belgrade area, and one each in the Juznobački, Sjeverbački and Braničevski districts.
According to data from “Batuta”, five infected are men and three are women, while the average age of the patients is 68.5 years, Tanjug writes.
