Elon Musk’s Company implanted a Brain Chip in a Human

The future is here. Elon Musk’s neurotechnology company Neuralink has announced implanting its first chip, Telepathy, in a human for the first time. Initial results of the trial show neuron spike detection, as Telepathy promises to provide users control over devices by just using the power of thought.

The patient, whose details were not disclosed, was recovering well in the trial, the company said on January 29.

“The first human received an implant from @Neuralink yesterday and is recovering well. Initial results show promising neuron spike detection,” Musk posted on his X platform, formerly Twitter.

“Enables control of your phone or computer, and through them almost any device, just by thinking. Initial users will be those who have lost the use of their limbs. Imagine if Stephen Hawking could communicate faster than a speed typist or auctioneer. That is the goal.”
