The Embassy of Japan in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with the support of Japan Tobacco Industries (JTI) and Music Academy of University of Sarajevo, organizes an exciting cultural event featuring two renowned Japanese musical acts, ONDEKOZA and YUZU.
This event will take place at the Cvjetko Rihtman Concert Hall (Music High School, Josipa Štadlera 1) Sarajevo, providing a unique opportunity for pupils, students, and the general public to experience the captivating sounds of traditional Japanese instruments and music.
ONDEKOZA, a world-renowned band of Japanese drummers, and YUZU, a celebrated musician known for playing the Japanese shamisen, will host a special lecture and workshop on Saturday, 21 September 2024, offering an interactive experience for attendees to learn more about traditional Japanese music.
During the lecture, ONDEKOZA will captivate the audience with their powerful taiko drumming, and YUZU will demonstrate the intricate techniques of the shamisen, a traditional three stringed Japanese instrument.
