Emir Spahic Brings another Player to the National Team of Bosnia and Herzegovina

The Director of the national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Emir Spahić, boasted on social media that he has brought another football player to the ranks of the Dragons.

It is Ermin Mahmić, who plays for the Czech team Slovan Liberec with great success.

“Welcome, son of Bosnia,” Spahić wrote on social media, welcoming the new player of the national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

This 21-year-old was born in Austria and plays as an attacking midfielder. He arrived in Liberec from Lafnitz in the summer of 2025. This season, he played 28 matches in all competitions for Slovan Liberec and scored seven goals and provided five assists.

He played for the U17 and U21 national teams of Austria and the U19 selection of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and now he has decided to return to the Dragons.

Whether he will play in the World Cup depends solely on the head coach Sergej Barbarez, who will soon send the calls to the players for the World Cup.
