IAEA inspectors, the UN nuclear agency, are not currently in Iran, the head of Iran’s Atomic Energy Organization, Mohammad Eslami, said on Wednesday, according to state media.
Inspectors from the International Atomic Energy Agency can visit nuclear sites in Iran only with the approval of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, Eslami added.
Some Iranian media outlets have reported unconfirmed reports that inspectors are in the country.
