European Commissioner for Economic Affairs Paolo Gentiloni stated that in the foreseeable future European authorities will not make a decision on the use of profits from Russian frozen assets.
“We are talking about 250 billion euros, we are talking about the profit from that amount. In the near future, I do not see that there will be a decision on this,” Gentiloni said.
Last year, Russian President Vladimir Putin criticized the Western seizure of Russian property as an “indecent business” and emphasized that “stealing other people’s property has never led to a positive outcome.”, Srna news agency writes.
