The Albanian platoon of EUFOR’s Multinational Battalion in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) carried out riot control training and medical evacuation of victims.
As stated by the EUFOR Mission in our country, complex riot control, and medical evacuation exercises were successfully completed.
“Highly disciplined and professional, they continuously improve their skills to remain ready for the mission. Prepared, united, and determined,” EUFOR wrote.
In recent days, EUFOR has increased the presence of soldiers in BiH due to political tensions.
In recent days, reservists from Romania, the Czech Republic, and Italy have arrived in our country by land and air, and soldiers were also recorded arriving at border crossings two days ago.
The presence of EUFOR reserve forces was also welcomed by the Head of the European Union (EU) Delegation to BiH, Luigi Soreca.
“EUFOR Althea plays a key role in supporting BiH on its European path, through cooperation with local authorities in maintaining a secure and stable environment. Stability and security are essential for BiH’s further progress towards membership in the EU and NATO,” emphasized Ambassador Soreca.
