A delegation of the European Union visited Drvar on Tuesday, where, together with representatives of the Drvar Municipal Administration, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the International Organization for Migration (IOM), they toured the field to mark the successful completion of joint reconstruction projects after the floods.
The joint working meeting highlighted the excellent cooperation that has almost completely completed the rehabilitation of part of the city’s sewage network and damaged housing, through broader support programmes funded by the European Union.
The municipal leadership and international partners stressed that these joint efforts have been successfully rounded off by providing direct economic and mentoring support to local businesspeople, as well as ensuring long-term assistance for agricultural households in Drvar.
The meeting also discussed future cooperation between the European Union and the Drvar Municipality on the implementation of infrastructure projects, as well as projects in the field of education.
