Namely, Zvizdic informed President Pahor about the current situation in BiH, the blockade of the work of institutions, as well as the demolition of all reform laws that are a condition for credible EU membership.
He expects support
They also discussed the aggression against Ukraine and agreed that the situation in Ukraine opens the need for BiH’s accession to NATO as soon as possible and obtaining candidate status for EU membership, which should no longer be a technical but a political decision.
Zvizdic said that BiH expects the support of the Republic of Slovenia in fulfilling these two goals and called on Slovenia to help in our calls to increase EUFOR troops in BiH.
Expressed satisfaction
”The current number of 1.100 soldiers is not enough, and it is clear that peace in BiH means stability and security for the entire region. Slovenia is participating with its troops in the EUFORAlthea mission and we are very grateful to you for that, ” Zvizdic stressed during the meeting.
Chairman Zvizdic and President Pahor expressed satisfaction with the excellent bilateral relations between the two countries and agreed that the EU should pay special attention to BiH and speed up our country’s path to the EU in order to preserve peace and stability.
