Tonight at 19:00 p.m., in the Gallery ” Roman Petrović ”, an exhibition of graphics will be opened. The exhibition will present graphics of the author Lejla Bešić. The author will showcase around 25 graphics. Every picture or every graphic that will be exhibited was done in the techniques of graphic art called mezzotint.
Mezzotint is a graphic art technique that has a goal of achieving the high tone of the graphic multi-original. It is printed mechanically, with two cooper plates. The themes and motives of the graphics are the immediacy of the environment, with which the author interacts daily. Although, these themes and motives are not just pure description of reality, but a certain improvement of reality, to which the author wants to give the unusual daily look with its artistic expression.
The opening of the exhibition will be accompanied by the sound of a viola played by Ajdin Mulabdić.
