The exhibition of artifacts or material values that were found during the excavation of graves, and which belong to the victims, was officially opened today before the funeral prayers for the sixteen Prijedor victims who were killed in 1992.
The victims’ clothing, shoes, ID cards, driver’s licenses, combs, shaving accessories, which were found in the graves with the victims’ remains, were exhibited.
After visiting the exhibition, visiters also visited the coffins of 16 victims who will be offered funeral prayers today and who will be buried in local cemeteries.
Victims who will be buried were killed by Serbian aggressor units in massacres during 1992 and 1993, and their remains were found in ten different locations.
These are mostly tombs that were discovered years ago, some of them even in 1998 and 1999, such as the tomb of Trnopolje – Matrici, Sivci, Hrastova glavica, Kozarac – Garevci.
Some victims who will be buried were also exhumed at Koricanske stijene, in Zecovi near Prijedor, but also during the exhumation in Rizvanovići in 2019.
