
Taida Jašarević graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Sarajevo, department of graphics in 2002. She received a scholarship from the Japanese government, and went to Japan in 2004, where she acquired a Doctor of Fine Arts degree in 2010 at Joshiba University. She has shown her work at several selective exhibitions throughout the world and is the winner of prestigious awards for graphics, among which is the International Triennial in Krakow (2012), Award of the Japanese Association for Graphics (2011) and Guanlan International Biennial Graphics in China (2011). She is a member of the ULUBiH and the University Committee for Graphics Studies in Japan.
