Herbert is one of the most recognizable names in contemporary Polish and European poetry. His modern, subtle and intellectual Polish language demonstrates not only the extraordinarily talented poet and thinker, but also as a man of extraordinary culture and education.
The most famous part of his opus is a cycle of songs about ‘Lord Kogit’, a character who is deeply rooted in the contemporary world, but also in the European cultural heritage.
The opening of the exhibition will take place on 29 October in the Museum of Literature in Sarajevo. The exhibition will be open until 5 November.
