
At yesterday’s presentation of the analysis that was jointly organized by the Sarajevo Foreign Trade Chamber (VTK) and the USAID / Swedish Farm II project, it was specified that there is a concern due to the amount of the import of 312 million BAM, and a deficit to almost 140 million BAM.
In the structure of exports and imports fruits dominates, especially berries, which makes more than one third of BH exports, namely frozen raspberries (55 million), followed by pears (14 million), apples (14 million), cucumbers (13 million) and plums (eight million).
In 2016 BiH imported bananas (47 million), apples (14 million), oranges (14 million), tomatoes (14 million) and lemon (12 million). The main export markets were Serbia, Russia, Germany, Croatia and Sweden, while mostly imported from the countries in the region, as well as from Italy, Turkey and the Netherlands.
