The Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Zeljko Komsic, convened an extraordinary session of the BiH Presidency on Tuesday with an item on the agenda – Proposal of Decision on Appointment of Zoran Tegeltija as the new Chairman of the BiH Council of Ministers.
The State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) verified the veracity of Zoran Tegeltija’s information and forwarded the results to the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina confirmed at a session on Thursday that Zoran Tegeltija, fulfills all the necessary conditions for the appointment prescribed by the BiH Election Law.
Namely, acting on the request of the BiH Presidency, as the authority responsible for appointing the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH, the CEC of BiH is in accordance with and on the basis of the authority referred to in Article 10b. and 10c. Of the Law on the Council of Ministers of BiH determined that the proposed candidate for the Chair of the Council of Ministers of BiH, Zoran Tegeltija, fulfills all the necessary conditions for appointment prescribed by the BiH Election Law.
Komsic said in a press statement that “it is not a problem in Tegeltija, but that Milorad Dodik has opted for non-compliance.”
