Fajon: BiH Citizens Need Security Now More Than Ever

96911Due to the short-term interests of BiH politicians, the citizens of BiH should not be penalized, who deserve the safety and welfare of the country now more than ever, said delegate to the European Parliament Tanja Fajon to Fena.

She was against the adoption of the amendment proposed by Doris Pack at the Resolution to the European Parliament, which she declared that such a radical suggestion on exclude BiH from the Council of Europe would not serve progress.

She stressed that BiH is moving from one political crisis to the next, and that the situation must radically change.

“I wish for BiH to become a member of the European Union. I wish to help the country. Provocative rhetoric on dissolving BIH is moving in the wrong direction. BiH could act as a community of various peoples’’, said Fajon and added that with the accession of Croatia to the EU, BiH will become a neighbor of the great European family.

This is why in her speech yesterday at the plenary session of the European Parliament she urged for the facilitation of border crossings from BiH to Croatia.

“Enabling citizens of BiH to cross into Croatia with their ID cards would simplify their lives at the border. People should not be punished due to unsuccessful politics’’, said the European Parliamentarian from Slovenia Tanja Fajon to Fena.
