Sixteen years old Bosnian swimmer Lana Pudar won third place at the European Championships held in Rome in the 100-meter dolphin.
In today’s final, Lana had a time of 57.27, which was enough for the third position at the end of the race.
Sweden’s Louise Hansson became the champion of Europe with a time of 56.66, while French Marie Wattel (France) won silver with a time of 56.80.
Lana was the youngest participant in the final race at only 16 years old, and only the Belgian Roos Vanotterdijk (17) from Belgium was a minor.
Apart from them, Anna Ntountounaki (Greece), Ilaria Bianchi (Italy), Angelina Koehler (Germany) and Keanna Macinnes (Great Britain) also took part in the final.
By the way, at this championship, Lana will also participate in the 200-meter dolphin, and the qualifications are scheduled for tomorrow morning.
Earlier, our best swimmer also competed in the 50-meter dolphin, where she ended the competition in the semifinals.
Numerous congratulations immediately began to arrive, and the mayor of Sarajevo, Benjamina Karic, promised a prize.
“Our Lana Pudar continues to achieve success! This time she honored us with a medal from the European Championship.
