The Deputy Minister of the Chairman of the Council of Ministers and the BiH Minister of Foreign Affairs Zlatko Lagumdžija received in Sarajevo today the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran Gholamreza Yousefi in a farewell visit.
Lagumdžija thanked Ambassador Yousefi for his personal contribution in improving bilateral relations between BiH and Iran during the last years, and wished him success and happiness in his career.
He expressed satisfaction because the political relations between Iran and BiH are good and friendly, and said that BiH is ready to fully contribute to maintaining the achieved level of cooperation and further progress.
During the meeting Lagumdžija expressed his particular satisfaction because during 2012 there was a growth in the commodity-monetary exchanges between BiH and Iran, and expectations that in the next period activities tied to scientific, cultural and sport cooperation between the two countries would intensify.
Ambassador Yousefi thanked Lagumdžija for the achieved successful cooperation between the two countries and support, as well as the support of the BiH Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the activities of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Sarajevo. He expressed confidence that the bilateral relations of the two friendly countries would continue to develop.
