The General Secretariat of the FB&H government is tasked to prepare a letter that will be sent to both houses of the FB&H Parliament, where it will point to the obligation that, according to the schedule established with the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the budget for 2014 and the law on its execution would be adopted by 9 December at the latest.
The government expressed willingness to explain these documents in the FB&H Parliament from 2 to 9 December, not excluding the weekends. It was proposed that the budget for next year would amount to 2.357.715.456 BAM, which is 143,5 million BAM or 6,5 percent more than this year’s.
The expenditure side of the budget for 2014 reflects the strict enforcement of restrictive measures of public spending, as one of the priorities of economic policies not only for 2014, but also for following years.
The aim of the FB&H government is to ensure macroeconomic, improve fiscal stability, transparency and increase responsibility, while ensuring the stability of the financial sector, restructuring of public spending and social stability and justice.
