FB&H Decision: Increase Pensions by Five Percent

The FB&H government adopted conclusions that give approval to the FB&H Department of PIO/MIO to determine the coefficients for the payment of pensions from 1 January 2014 (Article 51 of the Law on PIO), with tasks given to the government and the Department in its realization.

With the new coefficients, the January pensions, with payments expected in the first week of February, will increase by five percent, and is fully realized with the Agreement that the government of the FB&H reached with the Union of Pensioners Association in September 2013.

For the purpose of the financial viability of the FB&H Department of PIO and regular payment of pensions, on the level of which is determined, the FB&H government will implement several activities.
