FB&H Increased Exports in January and Reduced Imports

export-importThe FB&H achieved exports in the value of 440.271.000 BAM in January 2014, which is 3,4 percent more than in December 2013.

The value of imports in January was 702.628.000 BAM and less by 13,4 percent in comparison to December 2013, so the trade deficit of the FB&H in January 2014 amounted to 262.358.000, according to data from the FB&H Statistics Agency.

The percentage of coverage of imports in the FB&H in January was 62,7 percent and was higher by 10,2 percent in comparison to December 2013.

In January, the value of exports to Germany from the FB&H was 93.371.000 BAM, and 53.306.000 BAM to Italy. Most of the exports went to Croatia in the amount of 113.174.000 BAM and 88.284.000 to Germany.

The participation of the FB&H in the total export from B&H in January 2014 was 67,9 percent, and in the total import of B&H in that month it was 70 percent.
