The Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH) yesterday, at a telephone session and at the proposal of the Federal Ministry of Development, Entrepreneurship and Crafts, adopted the Decision on determining the final list of beneficiaries of financial aid to private employers, crafts, and other self-employed activities in the FBiH with the aim of maintaining existing jobs for March 2025.
The total funds for the implementation of this decision in the amount of 9.119.350 BAM are provided in the Budget of the FBiH to the Federal Ministry of Development, Entrepreneurship, and Crafts and are allocated to 13.138 beneficiaries. Part of these funds in the amount of 457.500 BAM is allocated to 634 beneficiaries whose complaints regarding the Decision on determining the final list of beneficiaries of financial aid for February 2025 were accepted.
The decision determines the final list of beneficiaries of financial aid to private employers, crafts, and other self-employed activities for March 2025 and the amount of allocated funds according to the Regulation on financial aid measures for private employers, crafts, and other self-employed activities in the FBiH with the aim of maintaining existing jobs in this year.
An integral part of the final list is also the list of beneficiaries whose complaints were accepted regarding the Decision on determining the final list of beneficiaries of financial aid for February 2025. The final list of beneficiaries of financial aid will be published on the websites of the Government of the FBiH and the Federal Ministry of Development, Entrepreneurship and Crafts.
The transfer of financial aid funds to the transaction accounts of the beneficiaries will be carried out by Union Bank in cooperation with the Federal Ministry of Finance and the Federal Ministry of Development, Entrepreneurship, and Crafts on the basis of this decision. For the implementation of this decision, the Federal Ministries of Development, Entrepreneurship, and Crafts, and of Finance, then the Tax Administration of the FBiH and Union Bank are responsible, each within their competence and obligations in accordance with the Regulation.
As explained, the reason for passing this decision is the implementation of the Regulation, which aims to ensure sustainability, preserve existing jobs, and provide liquidity support to private employers, crafts, and other self-employed activities in 2025, according to the FBiH Government Office for Public Relations.
The Government of the FBiH, at the proposal of the Federal Ministry of Energy, Mining and Industry, adopted the Decision on the payment of outstanding unpaid obligations for pension and disability insurance for the linking of work experience for employees of the dependent companies – coal mines in the Elektroprivreda BiH (EPBiH) Concern, in the total amount of 4.455.756.81 BAM for a total of 107 mine workers.
The decision approves the linking of work experience for unpaid pension and disability insurance contributions for workers who have met the conditions for retirement in the total amount of 4.143.668.78 BAM for 94 workers, and for 13 workers for whom funds were paid based on court rulings but who have not met the conditions for retirement, in the total amount of 312.088.03 BAM.
The Brown Coal Mine Kakanj d.o.o. – Kakanj approved work experience linking in the total amount of 602.179.21 BAM for 13 workers, the Kreka Coal Mine d.o.o. – Tuzla 3.076.495.54 BAM for 73 workers, the Brown Coal Mine Breza d.o.o. – Breza 205.577.54 BAM for four workers, and the Brown Coal Mine “Abid Lolic” d.o.o. – Travnik – Bila 259.416.49 BAM for four workers.
Also, the Brown Coal Mine Breza d.o.o. – Breza is approved work experience linking for funds paid based on court rulings for workers who have not met the conditions for retirement, in the total amount of 312.088.03 BAM for 13 workers.
The decision also stipulates that the funds will be paid from the funds of the dependent companies – coal mines in the EPBiH Concern, according to the FBiH Government Office for Public Relations.
Yesterday, the Government of the FBiH, at the proposal of the Federal Ministry of Environment and Tourism, adopted two decisions approving spending programs with allocation criteria for tourism development in the FBiH in the total amount of 4.000.000 BAM. These funds are determined in the Budget of the FBiH for 2025.
One decision adopts the Program for the allocation of 2.500.000 BAM from current transfers to other levels of government and funds for tourism development in the FBiH for eight programs.
The second Decision refers to the adoption of the Program for the expenditure of 1.500.000 BAM from capital transfers to other levels of government and funds for tourism development in the FBiH for three programs.
