With the aim of implementing energy efficiency measures, the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina made a decision today at its session to provide about 13 million BAM for energy heating for 2,600 individual, private, housing units in the territory of FBiH.
The Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina adopted today at its session the Proposal for the Decision on the Adoption of the Program for the Expenditure of Funds Current Transfers to Other Levels of Government and Funds – “Support of the European Union of Bosnia and Herzegovina with the Aim of Mitigating the Negative Socio-Economic Impact of the Energy Crisis” established by the FBiH Budget for 2023 to the Federal Ministry spatial arrangement.
FBiH Spatial Planning Minister Željko Nedić explained at a press conference that it is a matter of grants to the owners, that is, co-owners of residential buildings in the territory of the Federation of BiH.
“This time, the program will be implemented in the part that refers to the private ownership of individual residential buildings in the territory of FBiH. Until now, such projects were aimed at public housing facilities, and now they are privately owned facilities,” Nedic said.
Funds in the amount of about 13 million BAM, he pointed out, were provided for 2,600 individual housing units in the territory of the FBiH.
“The project plans to create thermal insulation on the facades, replace the carpentry on residential buildings and install modern systems for heating buildings and preparing sanitary water,” Nedic explained.
He stated that the maximum amount per individual project refers to 50 percent of the realized project or up to a maximum amount of up to 5,000 BAM.
What is important for the end users is that the realization of funds and all activities will be carried out by the FBiH Environmental Protection Fund, and the line ministry will forward the funds to the Fund.
The FBiH Environmental Protection Fund will also announce a public tender that will be published in the official gazette and on the website of the FBiH Government.
The FBiH Government also made a decision at today’s session, according to which the preparation of the Regulatory Plan of Jajce will be put into procedure, based on the Commission for the Preservation of National Monuments in the territory of BiH.
“This is a project in which the Federal Ministry of Spatial Planning will be responsible for the preparation of the regulatory plan, and the person responsible for the preparation will be selected on the basis of a public call,” said Nedić.
The deadline for drafting, from the signing of the contract, is 12 months, and as Nedic said, funds in the amount of 100,000 BAM are provided in the budget of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina for this year.
