The Border Police of Bosnia and Herzegovina detained Fikret Prevljak at Sarajevo Airport on the order of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina. As Detektor was told, Prevljak should be handed over to the Prosecutor’s Office within the legal term.
As unofficially confirmed by the Prosecutor’s Office, Prevljak is suspected of war crimes in the area of Hrasnica.
The Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina previously sentenced Zaim Laličić to six years in prison for rape in Hrasnica.
The Appellate Panel of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina issued a final verdict in which Senad Gadžo, Zaim Laličić and Suljo Hebib were acquitted of crimes against civilians in Hrasnica near Sarajevo committed in the second half of 1992.
The Court of Appeal in Belgrade issued a second-instance verdict in which Husein Mujanović was sentenced to four and a half years in prison for abusing prisoners of Serbian nationality in the military prison of the Army of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Hrasnica near Sarajevo during 1992.
