Film ‘Circles’ by Srdan Golubović, dedicated to brave Srđan Aleksić from Trebinje, was shown all over Europe, and on Saturday it was shown in Trebinje, the hometown of the hero, reports Nezavisne novine.
The audience gave a big applause and many of them cried in the full hall of Dom Kulture in Trebinje.
Srđan’s father Rade Aleksić watched the film for the third time and he said that each time the film grows closer to him, because every scene leads to a main idea, that a man was saved.
Rade said that the message of the film is that we all need to be friends to each other, and that every young man is our son.
Aleksić added that he is thrilled with the entire acting cast, and noted that although Golubović was doubting his film, Aleksić was convinced that he’ll succeed.
Aleksić was thrilled with the fact that the film was well received in Trebinje, together with its director and noted that they knew that people of Trebinje would recognise the goodness of the film.
Golubović said that he was nervous before the film was shown, but also, that he’s very happy that the film was well received.
Young actor Vuk Kostić said that everyone who watches the film will be touched by its story.
Nebojša Glogovac, said that it was his first time to act in Trebinje, and he was very happy and nervous to do that, and added that it was one of his most emotional and most significant roles.
The film talks about three parallel stories that happen in Trebinje, Belgrade and in German city Hale, following the characters who are motivated by the events from the past to make life changing decisions.
