This information was confirmed by executive producer and cinematographer of the film “Sarajevo Roses” Ognjen Oggi Tomic, who received the prestigious double BAFTA award for his film “Finding family”.
Oggi found Richards a few years ago and they have been in contact ever since.
Director chose “Sarajevo roses” for the name of his film, after the traces of bombs on the streets of Sarajevo which were later painted in red color.

“I’ve met Sarajevo pretty well in the last 23 years and this film reflects this,” said Richards.
The crew of the films consists of: Roger M. Richards (producer, director, editing, screenplay, director of photography), Oggi Tomic (producer, cinematographer), Peggy Meder and Zana Marjanovic (producer), Mitty Griffis Mirrer (scenario), Asim Haracic, Alexander Shesha, Milica Davies (music), Alex Germanotta (scenography), Vedran Smajlovic, Sanda Skrabic, Armin Oprasic, Sanela Tasic (roles).
In the film also participated other people with whom Richards is connected in some way as well, and that he had the opportunity to meet during the war.
