The film talks about Muzafar and Feruz are two gentle shepherds from Taboulistan, a tiny country in central Asia that no one has ever heard of. In order establish their country on the international scene, the Tabouli president’s son decides to launch “advertising” terrorism and to entrust our two shepherds, more naive than evil, with a mission of a lifetime: they must destroy the Eiffel Tower!
To reach their objective, they must traverse the most hostile region there is: France! This France is a far cry from the West they’ve heard so much about, what with Corsican nationalists, zealous cops, dishonest cab drivers, violent football supporters, moaning employees, rude waiters, nightmarish bureaucracy, and medical mishap, they are spared nothing.
Fortunately they encounter Marianne, a young and pretty journalist who, thinking that they’re illegal immigrants, helps them survive these trials and tribulations and shows them another side to France. This France which welcomes foreigners, a magnificent and generous country, where it is such a lovely place to live. Vive la France!
