First B&H Laboratory for Testing of Furniture

The Laboratory for testing furniture and wood ‘Lind’, which operates within the Agency for Local Development Zenica, was ceremoniously handed the certificate of accreditation of this laboratory for testing furniture in accordance with B&H standards, and from the Institute of Standardization of B&H comply with EU standards.

Laboratory Lind was established through the project ‘Mentor’, financed by the EU, and is currently the only accredited laboratory of its kind and purpose in B&H. It is certified by the Institute of Accreditation B&H, and for now it is possible to test the stability, strength, durability and safety of several types of office, school and household furniture.

The expansion of service laboratories Lind is planned through the establishment of the Center for Excellence in Wood-CID, whose planned activities were presented to guests and business partners.
