First International Festival of Drinks and Brandy “Spirit Fest” in Sarajevo

First International Festival of drinks and brandy called “Spirit fest” gathered in Sarajevo companies which represent brands of drinks and brandy in B&H, as well as the producers of brandy from B&H and region with the aim of promoting this market segment.

Brandy (rakija) is considered a national drink of many Slavic people in B&H, Montenegro, Macedonia and Serbia and is popular in Croatia, is pointed out during the opening of this event.

The most famous kind of brandy is “šljivovica”- a brandy that is made by a method of boiling of distillation of plums in a specific pot.

“Spirit Fest” is held under the organization of Association “Professional” from Sarajevo.
