At least five people have been killed and several others injured in an attack at a school in the Austrian city of Graz, Austrian media outlets, including the tabloid Kronen Zeitung, reported.
Citing local police, Austrian public broadcaster ORF said several people were seriously injured, including students and teachers.
According to media reports, the suspected attacker is believed to be a student at the school and is believed to have committed suicide.
Police confirmed that a police operation was underway on Dreierschuetzengasse, where the high school is located, but they did not provide further comment, Reuters reported.
ORF reported that the building was being evacuated.
