The foreign exchange reserves of the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina (CBBiH) at the end of April this year amounted to 15.87 billion BAM and increased by 541.6 million BAM (3.5%) on an annual level.
According to data from the CBBiH on monetary developments, total loans to domestic sectors at the end of April this year amounted to 24.27 billion BAM, showing an increase of 224.8 million BAM (0.9%) compared to the previous month.
Loan growth was recorded in the household sector by 113.3 million BAM (0.9%) and in private enterprises by 139 million BAM (1.4%). In other sectors, there was a decrease in loan growth, specifically in non-financial public enterprises by 17.8 million BAM (3%), in government institutions by 7.8 million BAM (0.7%), and in other domestic sectors by 1.8 million BAM (0.7%).
The annual growth rate of total loans in April was 8.4%, nominally 1.88 billion BAM.
Annual loan growth was recorded in the household sector by 938.4 million BAM (8.4%), in private enterprises by 863.7 million BAM (9.3%), in government institutions by 23.2 million BAM (9.7%), and in other domestic sectors by 85.2 million BAM (50.8%).
A decrease in loan growth on an annual level was recorded in non-financial public enterprises by 25.6 million BAM (4.2%).
According to data from the CBBiH, total deposits of domestic sectors at the end of April this year amounted to 31.92 billion BAM, an increase of 133.2 million BAM (0.4%) compared to the previous month.
The annual growth rate of total deposits in April this year was 8.5%, which is an absolute amount of 2.51 billion BAM.
