Former High Judicial Council’s President appointed as Consul in Rijeka

The Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina appointed Milan Tegeltija as the new Consul of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Rijeka.

“In view of the large number of questions from journalists, I can confirm that the BiH Presidency appointed me as the Consul General of BiH in Rijeka at the session on February 29,” Tegeltija said on the X social network.

Tegeltija is the former president of the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and since January 2022 he has been on the American blacklist – sanctions were imposed on him due to abuses during the performance of this position.
