The family of the B&H Basketball Association has a new member. On Tuesday, 10 December 2013 in Sarajevo, the inaugural assembly of the Association ‘Minibasket’ was held with the participation of members of the Assembly from all over B&H.
The aim of the Association is to include as many children in sport, and the development of basketball among children, and this will be done through a number of events that will be organized in the next period in our country.
On this occasion, members of the Assembly selected the administrative bodies of the Association, Board of Directors, Supervisory Board and the President of the Association and Assembly. For the first president of the Association ‘Minibasket’ of B&H, Ozren Selesković was chosen, who is also one of the initiators of this idea, along with a group of B&H basketball coaches.
In the first days of spring, the organization of the first Minibasket Festival is expected, which will have an international character.
As a newly-established Association, it is also a member of KS B&H and will submit an application soon for membership to the European and World Organization of Minibasket.
