The Chairperson of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Borjana Krišto, met today with the Ambassador of France to BiH, Christine Toudic, and emphasized the importance of supporting the European perspective of BiH in fulfilling the 14 priorities set by the European Commission.
Speaking about the activities of the new convocation of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Krišto assessed as positive the beginning of the trend of high passability of decisions at the sessions, which ensures the functionality of the government at the state level.
She added that the first visits of members of the BiH Council of Ministers to Brussels and the countries of the region are a practical confirmation of commitment to the European path and the improvement of regional cooperation.
They assessed that the cooperation between BiH and France is friendly and without open issues, but that the economic relations are not commensurate with the strength of the French economy or the economic potential and resources of BiH. The need for more intensive economic cooperation in mutual interest was emphasized,
Toudic congratulated Chairperson Krišto on her appointment and emphasized French support for the European perspective of Bosnia and Herzegovina, along with the fulfillment of the set tasks and 14 priorities of the European Commission. She added that France supports the deepening of cooperation projects with the Western Balkans, especially the strengthening of regional cooperation and stability in the region.
