Gas station owners in Banja Luka have started to gradually increase fuel prices, and the reason is, as always, the increase in the price of petroleum products in refineries.
As it was stated to Fena news agency at several gas stations, prices are being adjusted gradually in accordance with purchases from refineries.
“The other day we increased the price by two pfennigs and now a liter of diesel costs 2.49 BAM, and gasoline 2.45 BAM. It is expected that these days the prices will be higher by an average of 0.10 BAM per liter,” they said at a gas station located in the city of Banja Luka.
According to updated data, in Banja Luka, the cheapest fuel can currently be found at a price of 2.42 BAM per liter of diesel, while gasoline is 2.42 BAM. The most expensive diesel is as much as 2.72, and gasoline 2.62 BAM.
The Petroleum Products Trading Group of the RS Chamber of Commerce says that in the last 15 days or so, crude oil prices have been rising on the world stock market, and that the dollar has also risen after the US elections.
According to indicators from oil distributors in RS, it is “realistic” that the price of diesel will go up to 2.55 BAM and gasoline up to 2.50 BAM per liter in the next few days.
