Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina Bisera Turkovic met today with the Commander of the NATO Headquarters in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brigadier General William J. Edwards.

It was stated at the meeting that Bosnia and Herzegovina and NATO currently have a strong partnership, and that in the coming period it is expected to intensify cooperation and fulfill obligations, such as the reform program, which our country has undertaken.

In that context, Turkovic expressed the expectation that the Commission for the NATO integration process will be formed soon, for the establishment of which the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina has completed all procedures.

Turkovic thanked General Edwards for the successful cooperation with the Armed Forces and other competent institutions in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with the expectation that the cooperation will be improved in the coming period with the aim of faster progress of our country towards NATO.
