Banja Luka girlProm celebration is a crown of high school education. Almost every student fantasizes about that day and hopes to look the most beautiful ever, however, the financial situation is the one that dictates the whole situation. In BiH, unfortunately, most of the parents are not able to provide prom dream to their daughters and sons.

Tamara Dobras from Banja Luka thrilled the citizens when she announced status on her Facebook that she wants to give her prom dress and heels to a girl who did not have that luck and the ability to buy them.

“Today is a very difficult time and most of the parents are working for a minimum salary, and they had to prepare their child for prom as well. I asked my mom what she thinks about the idea to give my prom dress as a gift to someone in need, and she supported me. I have published a picture on my Facebook and the story started to spread slowly, people started to support it and joined the action as well,” said Tamara.

Among the first to join the action was hairdresser Dimitrije Vokic who offered to make the hairstyle for the girl who gets the dress, and then others came as well.

“I contacted several people who are dealing with professional makeup, making jewelry, hairdressers and all of them responded to my call and joined the action. There is now a dozen of them and everyone donated things that girls will really need for this evening,” said Tamara.

She is hoping to be able to help another girl, and she invited all good citizens to join the activity and make happy as many girls as possible.
