Good Conditions for Skiing on Jahorina & Skiing Trails Are Being Prepared on Bjelašnica

There is finally snow on the B&H Olympic mountains, Jahorina and Bjelašnica. The Head of Sales and Marketing of the Olympic Center “Jahorina” Zorica Jovanović said that Jahorina has enough snow, so all the fans of skiing and other winter sports can fully enjoy this Olympic beauty.

“Currently, 35 cm is the level of snow, and according to the weather forecast, snow is expected even in the upcoming days”, said Jovanović for Agency Fena.

She added that there are good conditions for skiing and that trails are good. Today, baby lift, lift Poljice, Ogorjelica 1, and lift Željo are put into operation.

The arrival of a group of skiers under the organization of the Association of students and youth of RS is announced for 13-16 March.

The spokesperson of “ZOI 84” Muamera Šehić said for Fena that the level of snow on Bjelašnica is 15 cm and on the top of Bjelašnica it is 35 cm.

“Employees of the ski-center are currently working on the preparations of trails in order to put the skiing trails into operation by tomorrow. We will produce artificial snow in case temperatures are low during the night. Information on the possibility of operation of the ski center will be published tomorrow morning”, said  Šehić.
