The Chairperson of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Borjana Krišto, spoke today in Sarajevo with the Resident Coordinator of the United Nations (UN) in BiH Ingrid Macdonald about the realization of the Sustainable Development Goals in BiH and the intensification of cooperation with United Nations agencies.
During the meeting, Kristo introduced Macdonald to the activities undertaken in the implementation of sustainable development goals. At the meeting, the mutual willingness to continue cooperation on future projects and activities was expressed, the Council of Ministers of BiH announced.
Coordinator Macdonald introduced the chairperson of the BiH Council of Ministers to the work and activities of the Joint Steering Committee between the UN and Bosnia and Herzegovina for the implementation of the “Cooperation Framework for Sustainable Development between the UN and Bosnia and Herzegovina in the period from 2021 to 2025”.
Krišto emphasized that the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, with its previous work aimed at achieving internal agreement and agreement in fulfilling obligations on the European path, confirmed its commitment to the principles contained in the UN Charter, with full respect for international law, democracy and strengthening regional cooperation.
