Good People fulfilled the Dream of Soldier of the Army of B&H Vedad Candic

When the story about Vedad Candic, a single father of three children and war veteran of Army of B&H was published, very few people remained indifferent, but only a few months after the publication of the story Vedad and his children felt the good will of people.

With the help of listeners of Odzak Radio and members of the association Zmajevi Posavine and all good people, house for Vedad Candic was built.

“Action is lasting for about 20 days and the house is coming from nowhere, now we will be doing fine interior works. He will be able to move in by the spring, if this weather remains. We have people calling, sending money and we forward everything for building the house. All the workers are volunteers,” as said from the Association.

Vedad says that he could not believe, when the good people first came and visited him promising to build him a house, that it is realistic thing to expect.

“Now I see what kind of people I’m dealing with, people with good heart and I thank everyone,” said Vedad.

People from Australia, complete Odzak diaspora, people from Posavina, Odzak private companies gave large contributions to the action.

The action was started and coordinate together listeners of Radio Preporod from Odzak, Zmajevi Posavine Odzak as the Association of fans and a group of people named Rodni kraj who are helping to people in the country and they are mostly members of the diaspora.
