Government of the Federation of BiH allocates Five Million BAM for Miners

The Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina(FBiH), at the proposal of the Federal Ministry of Energy, Mining and Industry, passed the Decision on the payment of outstanding obligations for pension and disability insurance for bridging service periods of 121 workers of subsidiaries – coal mines in the Elektroprivreda (EP BiH) Concern in the total amount of 4,912,635, 84 BAM.

The decision approved the funding for bridging service periodsfor 120 workers who acquired the conditions for retirement in the total amount of 4,903,108 BAM, and for one worker who was paid funds but did not obtain the conditions for retirement in the total amount of 9,527.84 BAM.

For bridging service periods for workers who have acquired the conditions for retirement at Rudnik uglja Kreka d.o.o. Tuzla the amount of 1,138,122.95 BAM for 40 workers is approved, and for brown coal mines Kakanj d.o.o. Kakanj 1,394,170.62 BAMfor 36 workers, Breza d.o.o. Breza 1,124,081.19 BAM for 19 workers, and Zenica d.o.o. Zenica 994,738.56 BAM for 20 workers and Abid Lolic d.o.o. Travnik Bila 251,994.68 BAMfor five workers.

Also, the brown coal mine Breza d.o.o. Breza is approved 9,527.84 BAM for bridging the service period of one worker who has not met the requirements for retirement.

The funds will be paid from the funds of the subsidiary companies-coal mines in the EP BiH Concern, and they are provided by the Decision on the approval of loans to the subsidiary companies-coal mines from Public Utility Elektroprivreda BiH d.d. Sarajevo.

Elektroprivreda BiH d.d. Sarajevo, subsidiary companies-coal mines in the EP BiH Concern, the Federal Pension and Disability Insurance Institute, and the FBiH Tax Administrationare responsible for the implementation of this decision, Biznis Info reports.
