The Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina today paid funds from the FBiH Budget for 2022 for 64 municipalities and cities in the Federation of BiH in the total amount of 32 million BAM, it was confirmed by the Federal Ministry of Finance.
Namely, it is about the allocation of financial assistance to the budgets of municipalities and cities for the rehabilitation of the consequences caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as for the financing and co-financing of capital projects, requests and initiatives that will be implemented in local self-government units.
This is part of a total of 39 million BAM approved by the FBiH Government Decision on the distribution of funds to municipalities and cities determined by the FBiH Budget for 2022 to the Federal Ministry of Finance, which are intended for current and capital transfers to other levels of government.
Earlier, on behalf of the Government of the FBiH, the contracts were signed by the Deputy Prime Minister of the FBiH and the Federal Minister of Finance Jelka Milićević with the chiefs and mayors.
The Federal Ministry of Finance notes that the rest of the funds will be paid after the remaining municipalities and cities submit the signed contracts, announced the Public Relations Office of the FBiH Government.
