
The Montenegrin Symphony Orchestra will, after several successful performances of Viennese music in Montenegro, and this year’s concerts in Podgorica and Tivat, will take part in Sarajevo. For the first time, there will be performances of radiant works of the gold and silver era of Viennese waltzes and operettas, and rare compositions by Johann and Josef Strauss, Carl Michael Ziehrer, Franz Lehar and others, and pieces from B&H and Montenegro, said the Embassy.
In addition to concert pieces, there will be arias and duets performed by the Hungarian soprano Brigitte Simon and the B&H bass Ivica Šarić.
The intention is that, in the sign of neighborly and regional cooperation, to offer friends of light Viennese music united artistic contribution for an optimistic 2014.
This event is organized as a charity event, and the proceeds will be used to help children with special needs that come from poor families, said in a statement.
