The Bosnia and Herzegovina national football team will play against Italy in the World Cup play-off final tomorrow, and it seems that the Azzurra squad that will face Sergej Barbarez’s team in Zenica is already known. You can watch the football spectacle at Zenica’s Bilino Polje exclusively on BHRT programs tomorrow from 20:45.
According to Italian media, coach Gennaro Gattuso already has a starting lineup ready.
The Italian coach does not rotate much, he has established a standard 3-5-2 formation, and all the players are in pretty good shape and are establishing themselves as reliable starters.
Gattuso’s only enigma is in attack, where either the young Pio Esposito or Matteo Retegui will play alongside Moise Kean.
Esposito would be a real surprise, while all the starters are known for the other positions on the field.
Donnarumma will be in goal, and Mancini, Bastoni and Calafiori will be in defense. Dimarco and Politano are safe on the wings, and the midfield is the strongest and there the trio will consist of Locatelli, Tonali and Barella.
Kean is safe in attack, and Esposito and Retegui are competing for his partner in attack.
ITALY (3-5-2): Donnarumma; Mancini, Bastoni, Calafiori; Politano, Barella, Locatelli, Tonali, Dimarco; Kean, Retegui.
Let’s also remind you that the duel in Zenica will be refereed by an experienced French referee – Clement Turpin.
