HEARTBEAT 2013 – International Youth Summer Camp

VlasicCenter for education of youth from Travnik and International youth organization Active – Sobriety, Friendship and Peace from Stockholm (Sweden) organized the International Camp for Youth Heartbeat 2013 in Vlašić.

Over 120 young people from 17 countries has gathered and enjoyed in numerous and interesting activities in period of 21-28 July.

The goal of this camp is promotion of  healthy lifestyles, with no alcohol, no tobacco and no drugs.

The “Active” is organizing other similar camps in cooperation with other organizations, each year in another European country, so during the last year’s camp in Island was decided that this year camp will be hosted by Bosnia and Herzegovina.

According to Karolina Plišo (representative of center for education of youth) the organization of this complex event consumed lots of time, effort and creativity  but also resulted with excellent results and indicated it was worth of everything invested.

Among numerous activities, the participants could select educational workshops, different sport activities, extreme sports such is paragliding, slack line, cycling and many others.  

Every evening, different fun and international events were held as a finishing of exciting and interesting daily activities.

Young people from Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Island, Estonia. Slovakia, Macedonia, Albania, Slovenia, Germany, Belgium, Great Britain, Switzerland, Ukraine and Bosnia and Herzegovina have been very satisfied with this camp, accommodation, food, activities, organization and communication with organizers so this camp earned the title of the best until now organized camp – was stated in front of Center for education of youth.
