More Hectares of Land Sown this Year than Previous

In 2014 in the autumn 34 888 hectares of land were sown in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. These data show that the sown hectares are higher by 0.2 percent compared to 2013.

When looking at the crop groups, sown area of cereals is decreased by 1.2 percent, while the sowing of industrial crops increased by nine per cent, vegetables by 14.1 and livestock forage crops by 4.7 percent compared to autumn sown in 2013 , announced the Federal Bureau of Statistics.
